Activities related to the Certification of Integrated Health Foods/Nutritional Foods

We plan to establish a working group within the council to promote this project and to begin considering the following matters.

Under private certification systems in connection to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the certification center of the Food and Agricultural Materials Inspection Center (FAMIC), an independent administrative agency, will authorize a neutral third-party certification body that conforms to the ISO/IEC17065 international standard, as a certification organization.

Member companies manufacture and sell products certified by the third-party certification organization that has been accredited as a certification body under ISO 17065 based on the certification criteria.
